Local favorite, Fireman Derek’s, is a family owned and operated bake shop that serves unique hand-crafted and savory desserts. Founded by former firefighter Derek Kaplan, the Florida native quickly found himself going from battling wildfires to firing up the tastiest treats in the kitchen. With our teams assistance, they were able to not only conquer the hearts and taste buds of our Miami locales, but also of people across the nation. For Fireman Derek’s we made it our mission to refine their visual identity by uplifting their character and personality. To revitalize their brand, we utilized bold, vivid graphics and illustrations in combination with vibrant colors to reflect their fun and playful identity.

Once we established the new visual direction for the brand, we were enlisted to conceptualize and design the product packaging for Fireman Derek’s. From packaging design their to-go bags and pastry boxes, we delivered a final product that aligned perfectly with the brand’s new visuals and tone of voice. The bold fonts and provocative colors encompass the brand’s sweet new look.
