In the heart and soul of Miami Beach, the oceanfront Marseilles Hotel combines historic art deco charm with modern sophistication and comfort. It is elegant yet unpretentious, vibrant while genuinely serene. Step out into the center of the finest area attractions or escape into your poolside oasis just beyond our backdoor.
Originally built in 1947 by Architect Robert Swartburg, the Marseilles Oceanfront Hotel sits on Collins Avenue directly on the beach. This is a 9 story Art Deco jewel which represents an architectural significance during the formative years of Miami Beach, with the original terrazzo floor design including the large “M” signage.
Serenity in the heart of paradise
A staple in comfort and conviviality, the Marseilles is for the traveller who appreciates calm as well as the frenzy. Contrasting the hectic pace of Collins Avenue, the breezy shade of the outdoor café offers reprieve. Appetizing treats and creative cocktails set the mood for the classic deco structure within. Original terrazzo floor design, soaring columns, and porthole accents act as prime eye candy for the forward thinking.
You can find us where the music meets the ocean
Natural light illuminates the white halls of the main lobby, accentuating sleek curves and shiny chrome. Splashy accents of orchid purple, tangerine orange, and lush green are found in the upholstered furniture, submerging guests into a tasteful daydream. Transition over to the mosaic tiled “M” bar for a shaken-not-stirred craft cocktail. Ensconced by warm, wooden room dividers, the bustle of the lobby is long forgotten. Sea foam tones and heavily textured tile lure guests to the poolside oasis.
The escape you've been waiting for.
Discover your paradise
Brazilian walnut pathways, entangled in vines, lead to 1,600 sq. ft. of heated pool. Plush, floating platform beds and covert cabanas serve as the gateway to an uninterrupted outdoor retreat. Get into it. Escape in a cozy 18-ft teardrop-hanging nest. Score the scene and take in surrounding paradise. Miami luxury is in the details—organic minimalism in the form of a white-on-raw wood color palette compliments fresh mojitos courtesy of the signature walk-up bar.
